Tesco Distribution Centre, Antrim

Tesco employed our services to remove all the sprayed insulation residues to the guttering that ran through their Warehouse in Antrim. A considerable amount of work went into planning this project as the distribution centre had to remain operational during the works. The task was also made more difficult by the fact that all the racking within the warehouse could not be removed and it was positioned directly below the gutter runs.

Working closely with Tesco, Ensafe (Tesco’s Asbestos Consultant) and the HSENI, a phased programme was developed which allowed us to complete our works safely and also enabled the warehouse to remain fully functional and so there was no risk posed to Tesco’s employees on site.

Works were completed as scheduled. This proved to be a very moral boasting job to our staff when we considered the obstacles that we overcame before the works could even start on site.
